Simon is the founder of i2D and Principal Dredging Engineer. He has over 20 years of international experience across the dredging, mineral sands, mining and offshore industries. Furthermore, he is recognised for delivering practical and commercially focused engineering solutions for complex marine projects worldwide.
Shameeka is a Sri Lankan Senior Dredging Engineer at i2D with extensive experience across marine infrastructure, dredging and offshore projects. Her expertise includes hydraulic transport, estimating and technical reporting, supporting improved operational efficiency across international projects.

explores dredging as an integrated excavation and hydraulic transport system
for mineral sands mining. Topics will include slurry transport efficiency,

economic advantages of hydraulic mining methods for both established and
emerging mineral sands operations.
