- Pipeline performance—including flow regimes, pressure losses, critical velocities and the practical implications of pipeline layout and material properties.
- Soil-like mixtures—how particle size, density, viscosity and clay or non-Newtonian behaviour affect mixture dynamics, energy use and achievable suction and discharge rates.
- System productivity limits—how operating points shift with changing soil, flow or pipeline resistance, and how to interpret these changes when estimating production and finding practical operating points.
- Using the PnP tool—how to collate data, input parameters, interpret diagrams and critically review results to build reliable and defensible estimates.
